Note the Lichen... A symbiosis between plant and fungi. What about the symbiosis between #mtb and rider? The bike is incomplete without its engine, the rider incomplete, discontented without the challenge and adventure it facilitates. Maybe that is too deep...so I have to say I'm lichen mountain bikin'

Sonoran Desert
I had an opportunity to go on a ride in Scottsdale Arizona. I have never seen anything like this... The vegetation was amazing. The first indication I had that I was a long way from Oregon was the temperature. November 13th and it was very warm. Here are a few photos from my trip.
